May Benedict Maye papers, ca. 1901-1942.

Correspondence, poetry, drafts and published articles on various topics; newspaper clippings, reprints, poetry and scrapbook about Luther Burbank, including reminiscences of the period in which she worked for him. There are also notes and correspondence in Burbank's handwriting, and both newspaper clippings and a reprint of articles by him. The collection also includes a "stock book" of plants and seeds which appears to have been dictated by Burbank.
